"Letter from a Birmingham Jail [King, Jr.]"

My fellow LGBT and supporter friends I urge you to read this letter and adapt it to our cause to fight against injustice and hatred. We, like King, must follow in his footsteps. We don't have to prescribe ourselves to a religion like King, but we can find solace in ourselves, our loved ones, and those who accept us. Please take in Kings prodigious words, and continue to keep the torch of justice and equality burning bright. Never lose hope, never hesitate to strengthen the motivation and movemen… Continue

The dangers of Homosexuality Verses Hate speech. *pre edited version

The Dangers of Hate Speech.

For years I have put up and listened to anti-gay people, and preachers speak about how unnatural homosexuality is. It has always quirked my fancy that the same tool and tools they use to defame LGBT people is the same tool that humans have unnaturally cultured and developed throughout the millennias. Do you know what I am referring to? Speech and language.

Granted we are gifted with the Fox P2 gene which grants us the wonderful ability to speak and understand langua… Continue

My Internal Damnation: An Ex-Gay Memoir of Suicide and Salvation

Dear Reader,

This is a story of the internal loathing I once harbored towards myself for being gay, and what I did to try to overcome my homosexuality. In the end I committed suicide and died for two minutes. My suicide, or attempt, to be literal, caused severe nerve damage to my right arm; the physical damage is nothing compared to the mental damage that still haunts me to this day.

Writing my story was not an easy task, but an extensively painful one. I do not over exaggerate my mistreatment… Continue

Condemned from Love.

Today there are people all around you as you might be well aware. Now let’s think about some of those people. Better yet, lets think about a single action those people might do with one another. Let’s say that this action brings people great happiness and contentment in their lives. Sounds pretty good doesn’t it? So let’s extend this subject and broaden it more. Let’s say that this action also brings people together in very intimate ways that no other action can do. This action breaks down barri… Continue

Einstein ideas of religion.

"A man's Ethical Behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death; and the further the spiritual evolution of mankind advances, the more certain it seems to me that the path to genuine religiosity does not lie through fear of life, and the fear of death, and blind faith, but through striving after rational knowledge." - Al… Continue

I just want to second what Patrick said really, your courage in telling a story about the darkest shadows of your past and the torment you have suffered at the hands of people who sort to "cure" you will be a testament to others, not just of the c...

Great page mate! I loved your "Who am I?" blog, and of course I loved the Einstein quote ;-) Thanks so much for the friend invite. Sometimes I wish 90% of the world's population was Gay, it would be a much more colorful globe, (just like a rainbow) don't yah think? LOL. Sorry, :-( I tend to laugh at my own jokes, even if they are only slightly amusing, and cheesy ;-p

Thanks again mate

As we are a new club, we are continually evolving our community standards to reflect a clearer purpose and focus. To that end, please update your profile photo with an actual photo of yourself or an artistic avatar representation of you. We prefer photos but human cartoon avatars are fine.

We hope this change will help attract serious people to our club who want to participate. These changes will make our club less anonymous and more open if people see that we are who we say we are.

Thanks,
Patrick

I agree with 1 and 3 however 2 is up for debate. I tell it like it is. If I see a moron acting like a moron, then they're a moron. If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it better know how to duck.

I do not tolerate religious intolerance for the fact of the matter that its completely irrational and most often insane. If a nut job decides to post on this site and he so happens to do so around me I will happily show him the door with my steel toe boot.

One can call me hateful and i surely wont argue. I don't hate nice religious people who can see past literalism and understand simple science and humanity. I am just tired of being polite and politically correct with morons who cant see those two simple things.

I am frustrated, I am tired, and I am a fighter.

Peace.
